Fieldays 2025: Conversations, Connection & the Rere ToolBox

What an awesome four days at Fieldays!
From reconnecting with familiar faces to meeting new ones, our time at Mystery Creek this year was packed with energy, insight, and plenty of inspiring kōrero.

It was fantastic to catch up with some of our participating farmers and connect with others curious about our kaupapa. A big thanks to everyone who stopped by to ask questions, share ideas, or simply say hello — your enthusiasm for farming in harmony with nature reminds us why we do what we do.

A special mihi to our friends at AgriSea NZ Seaweed Ltd for generously sharing your space with us. Collaborations like this are at the heart of what we’re building together.

One of the highlights for us was sharing our Rere ToolBox — a growing set of practical tools designed to support smarter, more resilient land management. Farmers were especially interested in:

  • Visual soil assessments that make soil health visible

  • Pasture diversity planning and how to enhance resilience

  • Mapping tools for better landscape understanding

  • Biostimulant use and the science behind improved performance

We had some great conversations about how these tools can be used on-farm, and it was encouraging to see the genuine appetite for approaches that centre te taiao and build long-term farm resilience.
