What are our Farming Support Resources (FSR)?
At Rere ki uta rere ki tai, we’re co-creating practical, farmer-led resources to support your farming journey across Aotearoa, New Zealand. These Resources (FSR) are being shaped by your insights and needs — gathered through conversations, feedback, and on-farm engagement.
These aren’t one-size-fits-all guides. They are tools, tips, and knowledge tailored by you, for your community.
What do you want to know?
To build something useful, we’ve asked farmers like you:
What are the big categories you want to explore?
Which specific topics spark your interest or confusion?
What do you want step-by-step guidance on — the "what to do and how to do it"?
Why are these resources needed?
Because they’re:
A single, easy-to-navigate point of reference
Made by you, for you
Relevant to your unique needs
A way to get real answers, in your own language and context
How should they be delivered?
We know you’re time-poor, so we’re designing these resources to be:
Format-friendly — easy to watch, read, or listen
Easy to access and revisit
Simple to digest, even when you’re on the go
How will they make an impact?
That’s up to you — and we’d love your input.
What would be most valuable to you?
How can we support and drive positive change in your system?
Could this knowledge be shared with your friends, neighbours, or farm team?
What we've heard so far
Farmers are telling us that stories of other farmers — their trials, wins, and journeys — are among the most powerful tools available.
You want short, sharp, informative content that you can return to when it suits you. You’ve told us that videos featuring real farmers and real examples are helping guide your own change-making decisions.
This work is about supporting innovative thinking, backed by evidence and grounded in what works. It’s about sharing proven practices that make a difference — without adding extra pressure.
Want to contribute?
We’d love to hear more from you.
